About Us
At Rook Interiors, we believe everyone deserves to live in a space that feels safe, comfortable, and deeply reflective of who they are. Not a showroom. Not a trend cycle. A home that actually works for you.
Our approach is rooted in the idea that good design should meet people where they are. There’s no judgment here, no expectation that you speak “design language” or arrive with everything figured out. We design spaces around real lives, real needs, and what makes you feel most at ease in your environment.
With a foundation in interior architecture and years of hands-on experience working alongside builders and trades, we bring a deep understanding of how spaces are built and how they function. We balance that technical knowledge with a human, creative approach, keeping the process collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in trust from start to finish.
Sustainability and accessibility are not add-ons in our work. They are core to how we design every space. From sourcing materials thoughtfully and working with local artists and trades, to creating environments that are intuitive, adaptable, and supportive of different bodies, abilities, and stages of life, we believe good design should be responsible, inclusive, and lasting.
Our designs aren’t driven by trends. They are curated, intentional, and tailored to each client’s tastes, routines, and priorities. We take the time to understand what you love, how you live, and what makes a space feel like home to you — whether that means bold and expressive, calm and grounding, or somewhere in between.
If this resonates, we’d love to start with a conversation. Book a complimentary 30-minute Zoom call to connect, talk through your ideas, and see if we’re a good fit. No pressure, no prep required — just a relaxed vibe check to begin shaping a space that truly feels like yours.

Sam Rook

Sam Rook is the founder and principal designer of Rook Interiors. With a background in interior architecture and years of experience working closely with builders and trades, Sam brings a strong technical foundation to every project while keeping the process approachable and collaborative.
Before entering the design field, Sam worked with people with dementia and neurodivergent individuals, shaping a belief that our environments have a profound impact on how safe, comfortable, and supported we feel. That perspective continues to inform Sam’s design approach, with an emphasis on spaces that are intuitive, adaptable, and tailored to the people who live in them.
Sam’s work is thoughtful, curated, and highly personal. Rather than following trends, each space is designed around how clients live, what they love, and what makes them feel at ease, with the goal of creating homes that feel grounded, functional, and deeply human.
